It started out with my family's trip to Cebu all the way from Cagayan de Oro City. They came as a promise and gratitude for the blessing received. My mom vow to visit Simala Church at Sibonga, Cebu.
On our way to Sibonga, we stopped at the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (the pink church) at Minglanilla, Cebu.
We also linger by St. Francis of Assisi Church of Naga, Cebu. Got amazed with the bell's tower which stands separately from the main church (just like the famous Cagsawa Church beside Mt. Mayon).

Energy has been drained when we reached Simala Church due to hot weather. But that does not hinder us to climb the church. My mom attended the mass while the rest of us went up to Mama Mary's statue.
To refresh and refuel our spirit, we went to Alcoy, Cebu to take a dip in their beautiful beaches. I personally love it.
Sadly, we stay only for a short period of time because we need to be back at Cebu before the sun downs. We still have to visit Sto. Nino Church.
The following day, we attend the mass at Our Lady of Rule Church, Lapu-Lapu (sorry, was not able to capture special moments there) and went to see the Lapu-Lapu Shrine after.
Too bad we are so drained that even malling at Ayala Terraces doesn't help. They have to rest since they have to go home to CDO the following day.
One week after, its our time to go home and visit our hometown, City of Golden Friendship.

The best part of it, beating the summer heat by taking a swim at Marco Hotel's Pool.
Oh well! Summer 2013 is still not over yet :D
